Our client, a newly established catalyst recycling plant specializing in the recovery and sustainable processing of industrial catalysts, is seeking an experienced HSE Manager. In this role, you will lead emergency response activities, conduct audits and risk assessments, and promote a strong safety culture while ensuring environmental compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee HSE policies, procedures, and compliance with local regulations (OSHA, DOSH, DOE)
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Lead Emergency Response activities as an EO‑qualified officer, including drills and incident coordination
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Manage environmental compliance, waste handling, and pollution control
- Conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and promote a strong safety culture
- Review contractor HSE plans and monitor on-site safety execution
Job Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ HSE experience in manufacturing industry
- EO‑qualified; DOSH‑registered SHO is an added advantage
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, ISO 45001/14001, incident investigation, and HIRARC
Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.
