Korean speaking Junior Accountant

COMPANY OVERVIEW
An established global IT service company is looking for a skilled talent with proficiency in Korean and experience in accounting. You will play a crucial role in assisting the business in accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and month end closing.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Oversee depreciation and lease controls
• Implement cost control measures
• Evaluate foreign exchange (F/X)
• Process ordinary payments
• Perform GR/IR clearing
• Handle advance payments
• Close expenses in a timely manner

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in written and spoken Korean and English, as there is a need to work with vendors, clients and stakeholders in South Korea.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Skilled in using accounting software and Excel spreadsheets
• Experienced in accounts payable, receivable, and basic accounting functions
• Enthusiastic about learning new processes and acquiring knowledge
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
• Demonstrates a proactive "must-do" attitude and diligence
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is advantageous but not obligatory

• Working mode: Hybrid (based in Malaysia)
