An exciting opportunity to work with company based in Juru / Penang Science Park as we are seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to lead and support new product introduction projects from concept through production.
Job Responsibilities
Interpret and analyze technical drawings with accuracy and attention to detail.
Provide on-site support for customer rework activities.
Follow up on First Article (FA) parts and prepare FAIR (First Article Inspection Report).
Address customer complaints and deliver effective service solutions.
Create and modify 2D and 3D drawings as required.
Prepare RFQ documents.
Generate ECN for revision updates.
Develop costing for awarded parts and update item sourcing information.
Prepare Technical Queries (TQ), Process Control Plans (PCP), and PFMEA for awarded parts.
Source new items, parts, and materials as needed.
Conduct cost reviews and implement necessary revisions.
Job Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of working experience, preferably with knowledge in die casting or sheet metal processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Skilled in interpreting and creating 2D and 3D technical drawings.
Capable of problem-solving using a fact-based decision-making approach.
Basic experience with SolidWorks and CAD software is required.
This role is based in Juru.
