Planning Manager
An exciting opportunity to work with an expanding US based company based in Penang as they are looking for a leadership role in planning department.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Demand Forecasting, Order Management, Delivery and New Project Planning
- Expedite deliveries to ensure they meet or exceed critical scheduling requirements.
- Analyze material availability and capacity to develop achievable Estimated Time of Delivery (ETD) schedules based on customer forecasts and purchase orders (POs).
- Analyze requisitions to determine quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor material delivery status to ensure timely fulfillment of orders
- Strategically plan and manage inventory to minimize obsolete materials and enhance production support
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in electronics manufacturing with at least 3 years in leadership role (Team Lead/ Section Manager/ Assistant Manager/ Manager)
- Proficient in customer service, relationship management, Microsoft Excel, and MRP systems
- Experience working with overseas counterpart such as US, China and Europe
