Our client specializes in global trading of a wide range of products. As part of their business expansion, they are seeking a proactive and driven Sales Executive for their steel division. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur.
Job Responsibilities
Handle import of steel materials from overseas suppliers and promote them to Malaysian customers
Identify and visit new customers, explore business opportunities, and propose solutions beyond one‑off deals
Conduct customer visits to understand each industry’s commercial flow and identify where the company can add value
Complete all required administrative and internal tasks accurately and on time
Continuously study and learn about relevant industries to improve knowledge and customer engagement
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Degree in any field
2-3 years of sales experience in power, data center equipment, automotive, or steel industry
Strong ability to understand commercial flow, industry structure, and customer value chains
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and identify strategic business opportunities
Self-driven, disciplined, and committed to continuous learning and completing all required tasks
Must be a Malaysian citizen or possess valid residency status
