OVERVIEW
Act as a technology subject matter expert in the SAP Data Volume Management team and report to the Functional Lead Data Volume Management. Support planning, documentation and quality assurance processes, especially change control. Support/manage archiving related activities (e.g. Implementation of SAP ILM or upgrading OpenText environment).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner/collaborate with Business Key and Power Users in their daily work to establish an effective support structure for SAP archiving, especially after Go-Live of new units
- Analyze and monitor archiving activities within SAP ECC/CRM systems for business processes and interfaces
- Design, specify, test, document and implement changes to business processes related to archiving
- Collaborate with our business Power Users to establish an effective support structure for SAP archiving
- Work/lead on projects related to data volume management (e.g. SAP Information Lifecycle management (ILM), OpenText upgrades)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Information Technologies or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience and a good knowledge of newest SAP technologies and procedures within an international company with complex system environment on a global scale
- Strong technical skills/awareness in the SAP Arching/Data Volume Management area with OpenText, specifically for SAP Document Archiving: SAP standard GOS implement, customizing and troubleshooting, OpenText related document archiving solution, ECM solution, like J6NY, J6NP, J6NA
- Experience with OpenText related products like archive server, cache server, content server
- Provide solution for outgoing document and incoming document in ECC/CRM/PI on HANA system
- Familiarity with OpenText client s/w like exchange link, desktop link, enterprise scan is better
- DVM functional processes design and documentation
- Interest and knowledge in SAP ILM is a plus
