A leading MNC in the FMCG industry who is well-known for their food sauces and seasonings is looking for a Senior Chef to join their Food Service team.
Responsibilities:
To design and construct menus and create new recipes to promote brand awareness.
To provide product training to internal teams and external interest parties.
To provide ideas and suggestions in new product development.
To conduct culinary workshops for distributors, wholesalers, culinary school and events upon instruction from superior.
Support planning, organizing and implementing the sampling & roadshow cooking demo.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety.
Plan and share the idea of the collaboration event activity with other companies.
Building relationships with new customers and providing services to existing customers by visiting, sharing ideas, menu and new products for sales growth with the Sales and Marketing team.
Costing sharing according to the menu proposal for customers.
Requirements:
2 years working experience as a chef or experience in the HoReCa line with culinary background.
Good communication skills to explain internally & externally about the products and menu.
Speciality on Chinese and Malay cuisine.
Planning skill for the cooking demo and menu creation.
Knowledge about food commodities, food safety and sanitation, food handling control.
