JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -
Oversee all financial accounting, reporting, risk reporting, and taxation matters to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Identify, assess, and manage financial and BASEL-related risks in daily operations, while ensuring adherence to internal and external policies and procedures.
Lead the Finance Department, including organizational structure, staffing, performance management, and development of team members.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and support continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: -
Degree in finance or business-related fields, with a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MICPA.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably with a background in banking (accounting, tax reporting) or Big 4, and experience leading teams of 10 or more.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage departmental operations and effectively communicate and negotiate across functions.
Proficiency in IFRS/MFRS standards, Malaysian accounting and tax regulations, and experience with e-invoicing is highly desirable.
