Our client is a European based company, provider of fully integrated electronic and mechatronic design and manufacturing solutions in Penang. They are looking for candidate with experience in purchasing and planning to lead the supply chain team.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the supply chain operation control, ensure the respective team members carried out the routine job and take corrective action/ improvement action if there is any discrepancy
Assist team members to follow up with supplier to prevent line stoppages
Develop and monitor process in reporting to ensure that system settings and control are properly aligned
Provide guidance to team members in the process of developing and monitoring project timelines for new product launches
Provide timely reporting on supplier delivery status of all projects
Generate monthly summary and analysis of inventory availabilities and excess, slow turning inventories and presentation in the stores and on order stock
Job Requirement
Hands-on experience in purchasing and planning management
At least 8 years of working experience, preferably with team lead experience
Proven track records in process improvement
Strong in data crunching and analysis
