A rapidly growing automation company is seeking an innovative Scientist to advance research in semiconductor manufacturing processes and Automated Material Handling Systems.

You will collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to translate scientific insights into practical solutions that drive the future of semiconductor manufacturing automation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct scientific research in materials science, physics, or chemistry, with a focus on semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Analyze and optimize semiconductor manufacturing workflows and automated material handling systems (AMHS).
- Develop scientific models and theories to enhance AMHS performance and overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Identify and analyze factors affecting semiconductor yield, integrating findings to improve AMHS and production processes.
- Support AMHS design, validation, and troubleshooting by formulating hypotheses and designing experiments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, and operations) to implement research outcomes and drive innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience for candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in the semiconductor industry is highly desirable.
- Business-level proficiency in English.
