JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assess new investment opportunities which includes;
i. Conduct financial due diligence
ii. Investment appraisal of new project and business proposals (including proposed mergers & acquisition (“M&A”)
iii. Prepare reports with recommendations and methodology.
- To oversee and assess fund raising exercises for the group includes the propose structure and implementation of fund-raising exercise;
- Optimize Return on interest income – actively place idle funds with financial institutions;
- Corporate exercise – Managing Sukuk/Bond, financial modelling and fund-raising exercise for new projects;
- To strategize and formulate corporate exercises as per requirements set out by management;
- Liaise and oversee with investment banks / stakeholders with regards to implementation and execution of said exercises; and
- Coordinate, analyse and report the financial performance of the Group Companies to the Management/Board.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Possess at least Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience in similar capacity, preferable in Corporate Finance or Banking.
- Experience in financial instruments/modelling and negotiation with lenders, Bond Holder in fund raising exercise.
- Knowledge of relevant authority guidelines (i.e. Securities Commission, Bursa Malaysia etc.).
- Good leadership skills, able to meet deadlines, have good rapport with bankers / stakeholders.
- Willing to work at Shah Alam.
