- Main focal point for technical engineering interfacing with the factories and customers.
- The core focus will be on the technical solutions towards the customer engagement in Transmission (Grid). The successful candidate should be able to translate customer’s technical requirement into a technical solution/proposal for customer from utility companies, EPC players, industrial and renewable clients across Malaysia, Thailand, Philippine, Cambodia.
- Reviewing all the technical proposal, drawings between customer and factory, expedite the progress as per schedule related to transmission products (GIS, AIS, Power Transformer, BESS for 132kV and above)
- Monitor and expedite the progress with factories and customers on prompt documents and drawings approval.
- Ensure that solutions are aligned with customer requirements and any deviation shall be clearly identified, for the purpose of negotiation with the customer.
- Assist and support the tendering process especially on technical content.
- Visits customers and potential customers to develop relationships, follow up on leads, close sales opportunities and provide technical information.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Electrical Engineering.
- 7 years of sales experience in Transmission & Distribution or a minimum 5 years engineering experience in Grid products in primary equipment.
- Key experiences on 132kV and above in transformer and GIS and good technical knowledge on Transformers and High voltage GIS.
- At minimum, shall be able to read the Single Line Diagram and technical data sheet, tender documents and layout of the equipment.
- Having a good technical knowledge on Transformers and High Voltage GIS
- Requires travelling to customer and/or vendor sites (40%).
