Role: Electrical Estimator / Estimation Engineer

Overview
Our client is a well-established Electrical & M&E engineering contractor seeking an Electrical Estimator / Estimation Engineer to strengthen their tendering and pre-contract team. This role focuses on cost estimation, technical evaluation, and tender submissions for industrial and commercial projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate electrical and M&E cost estimates for tenders
Quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
Evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
Attend tender briefings and site visits
Provide technical support to project and procurement teams
Support cost monitoring during project execution
Job Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Electrical or M&E estimation
Strong exposure to 33kV / 11kV systems, ELV, cable sizing, and lighting design
Familiar with Malaysian electrical codes and practices
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under tight deadlines
