Our client is an established canned food manufacturing company. They are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Manager to oversee the daily operations of a food manufacturing facility specializing in canned products. The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency, maintain high-quality standards, and lead a team to achieve operational excellence while driving strategic initiatives for long-term growth.
Job Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all factory operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize p
roductivity and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for raw materials.
Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain a high-performance culture.
Prepare and analyze production reports, identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
Take full responsibility for factory Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively.
Provide strategic leadership to align factory operations with overall business objectives, including capacity planning, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in factory management, with proven experience in canned food manufacturing.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and operational costs.
