Our client is an established canned food manufacturing company. They are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Manager to oversee the daily operations of a food manufacturing facility specializing in canned products. The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency, maintain high-quality standards, and lead a team to achieve operational excellence while driving strategic initiatives for long-term growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all factory operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize p
roductivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for raw materials.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain a high-performance culture.
- Prepare and analyze production reports, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
- Take full responsibility for factory Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively.
- Provide strategic leadership to align factory operations with overall business objectives, including capacity planning, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in factory management, with proven experience in canned food manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and operational costs.
