A F&B client based in Puchong is looking for a Head of Finance role, preferably someone with Pre-IPO experience.
Key Responsibility of a Head of Finance:
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Liaise with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action or provide strategies
• Supervise and manage all accounting operations and advise on improvement that the company should take; set goals and objectives and design a framework for these to be met.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
• Additional financial duties as necessary

Requirements and skills:
• Proven experience as a Financial Manager exceeding 5 years.
• Experience in public listed financial structure.
• Extensive understanding of financial trends in food sector.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, administration, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership experience
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
• Study background in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Professional qualification will be considered a plus
• Proven experience as a Financial Manager exceeding 5 years.
• Experience in public listed financial structure.
• Extensive understanding of financial trends in food sector.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, administration, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership experience
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
