A forward-thinking technology firm specializing in industrial automation is seeking a visionary and dynamic Head of Technology Strategy to lead its Research & Development, Marketing, and Corporate Strategy functions. This executive role is central to shaping the organization’s technological direction, driving innovation, strengthening market positioning, and steering long-term strategic growth. The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic insight, and commercial acumen to help elevate the company’s impact in a rapidly evolving industry.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology & R&D Leadership

    • Define and drive the company’s technology roadmap aligned with business goals.

    • Oversee all R&D initiatives, ensuring innovation, efficiency, and alignment with market needs.

    • Foster a culture of technical excellence, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

    • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to maintain competitive advantage.

  • Marketing Oversight

    • Collaborate with marketing leadership to position the company as a market leader.

    • Ensure product-market fit through close alignment between R&D and marketing strategies.

    • Guide branding, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for new products and solutions.

    • Support customer engagement and feedback loops to inform product development.

  • Corporate Strategy

    • Lead strategic planning and execution to drive sustainable growth.

    • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and business models.

    • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to align technology and business strategy.

    • Represent the company in high-level industry forums, partnerships, and investor meetings.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally in automation, robotics, or industrial systems.

  • Strong track record in leading cross-functional teams across R&D, marketing, and strategy.

  • Deep understanding of both technical and commercial aspects of product development.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
