Job Summary:
Step into a pivotal role as an Operation Executive within the dynamic logistics industry. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around data management, facilitating shipment arrangements, negotiating costs, and overseeing the smooth execution of export and import operations. Collaboration with customers, vendors, and various internal teams will be crucial to ensure streamlined logistics procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- To input/ update data in the computer systems
- Assist to co-ordinate with customers/vendors for shipment arrangement.
- Assist to manage all export and import shipments.
- Assist to negotiate transportation and handling costs
- Assist to deal with shippers/ consignees’ requirements.
- Assist to verify / update vendors’ and agents’ invoices.
- Assist to handle invoices with clients and finance department.
- Assist to handle for haulage/transport arrangement.
- Update shipment status & required information to customers.
- Preparing document (Bill of Lading/HAWB / invoice, etc)
- Send pre-alert to destination agent & follow up destination clearance/delivery status.
- Follow up D/O from agent/vendor.
- Assist to ensure all paperwork is well prepared and filed accordingly.
- Adhere to all SOPs and compliance procedures.
- To perform any other tasks as and when required.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or equivalent.
- Good computer proficiency in MS Office
- Good written and verbal communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- Proactive, meticulous, team player, initiative with positive work attitude
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
