Our client is an established multinational manufacturer supporting high precision, they are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead warehouse performance, logistics coordination and regulatory governance. Thus, this role requires a hands-on leader who can manage operation on the ground, ensure compliance standards and confident dealing with both operational teams and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities: -
Warehouse & Inventory Management
Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
Implement effective inventory control systems to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with LMW regulations.
Optimize warehouse layout, material handling, and safety procedures.
Logistics & Supply Chain
Manage inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure smooth import/export processes.
Develop cost-efficient logistics strategies aligned with production schedules and customer requirements.
Regulatory Compliance & Licensing
Ensure full compliance with LMW licensing requirements, customs regulations, and other statutory obligations.
Prepare and submit necessary reports/documentation to government authorities (e.g., Royal Malaysian Customs).
Act as the key liaison with regulatory bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Authority Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and HQ counterparts.
Represent the company in regulatory discussions, audits, and industry forums.
Provide clear communication and reporting to senior management and external partners.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach and develop warehouse and logistics personnel
Establish clear KPIs and drive accountability within the team
Implement SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in logistics/warehouse management, preferably in semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian customs procedures and import/ export regulations
Proven ability to engage with government authorities, auditors, and multinational stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, warehouse management software, and Microsoft Office
