Job Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Business Development Director and Sales Manager, this is a technical sales position for the fast-growing market in Industrial Automation with a focus on Machine Vision, Deep Learning, IIOT etc.
  • Achieve individual sales targets by conducting the full sales cycle of lead generation, follow-up, service delivery and transaction closure.
  • Detailed work includes preparing and delivering sales proposals/presentations and following up with suppliers and stakeholders. Prospecting for new customers. Cold calling to generate customer meetings as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with customers, understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires effectively. As a distributor, work with the integrator to support the
  • customer.
  • Execute and follow through with the sales plan set by the manager to expand the company’s customer base and ensure its substantial presence in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia
  • Possess the creativity and resourcefulness to introduce technology that adds value to the customers. Continuously improve on own’s knowledge of supplier’s products.
  • Review sales activities with the superior every week, including the status of prospective customers, plans to meet sales goals and
  • status on deadlines. 
  • Working with the Business Development Director and Sales Manager produces marketing reports regularly to communicate with suppliers on sales activities and the status of the project
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to travel within Malaysia as required up to 10%-20% of the time.
  • Diploma or Degree in computer, electrical and electronics, mechanical engineering fields, or computer science
  • Prior experience in a similar industry with a similar sales cycle and with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.
  • Ability to build relations with clients quickly.
  • A highly motivated go-getter with hunter instincts to develop each potential prospect into a business opportunity.
  • Possess the creativity and resourcefulness to introduce technology that impacts customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Abe to communicate and make presentations effectively
