Job Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Business Development Director and Sales Manager, this is a technical sales position for the fast-growing market in Industrial Automation with a focus on Machine Vision, Deep Learning, IIOT etc.
- Achieve individual sales targets by conducting the full sales cycle of lead generation, follow-up, service delivery and transaction closure.
- Detailed work includes preparing and delivering sales proposals/presentations and following up with suppliers and stakeholders. Prospecting for new customers. Cold calling to generate customer meetings as needed.
- Maintain relationships with customers, understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires effectively. As a distributor, work with the integrator to support the
- customer.
- Execute and follow through with the sales plan set by the manager to expand the company’s customer base and ensure its substantial presence in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia
- Possess the creativity and resourcefulness to introduce technology that adds value to the customers. Continuously improve on own’s knowledge of supplier’s products.
- Review sales activities with the superior every week, including the status of prospective customers, plans to meet sales goals and
- status on deadlines.
- Working with the Business Development Director and Sales Manager produces marketing reports regularly to communicate with suppliers on sales activities and the status of the project
Job Requirements:
- Ability to travel within Malaysia as required up to 10%-20% of the time.
- Diploma or Degree in computer, electrical and electronics, mechanical engineering fields, or computer science
- Prior experience in a similar industry with a similar sales cycle and with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.
- Ability to build relations with clients quickly.
- A highly motivated go-getter with hunter instincts to develop each potential prospect into a business opportunity.
- Possess the creativity and resourcefulness to introduce technology that impacts customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
