Sales Executive - Air/ Sea Freight
A leading shipping company specializing in Air & Sea freight is looking for a career minded Sales Executive to be part of their team.  

 
Key Responsibilities for Sales Executive
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the shipping industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and potential areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company and expand the client network.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline development using CRM software.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and market trends to remain competitive in the shipping industry.
Key Requirements:
  • Diploma/ bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the shipping, logistics, or transportation industry.
  • Strong understanding of shipping processes, terminology, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and conferences
