Job Overview
The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for sourcing high-quality, cost-effective appliances from global suppliers to support competitive product development and drive business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and develop reliable local and global suppliers to build a sustainable and innovative supply base.
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal cost structures, contracts, and terms aligned with profitability goals.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to support new product development through sourcing solutions and supplier recommendations.
- Monitor supplier performance in quality, delivery, compliance, and service; implement corrective actions when needed.
- Analyze market trends and competitor sourcing strategies to inform sourcing decisions and product roadmaps.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and sustainability requirements while mitigating supply chain risks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing roles with regional or global scope, preferably in electrical, appliance, or tech sectors.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English is required. Mandarin or Korean is an added advantage.
