Job Overview
The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for sourcing high-quality, cost-effective appliances from global suppliers to support competitive product development and drive business growth.
Job Responsibilities
Identify and develop reliable local and global suppliers to build a sustainable and innovative supply base.
Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal cost structures, contracts, and terms aligned with profitability goals.
Collaborate with Product Managers to support new product development through sourcing solutions and supplier recommendations.
Monitor supplier performance in quality, delivery, compliance, and service; implement corrective actions when needed.
Analyze market trends and competitor sourcing strategies to inform sourcing decisions and product roadmaps.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and sustainability requirements while mitigating supply chain risks.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing roles with regional or global scope, preferably in electrical, appliance, or tech sectors.
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English is required. Mandarin or Korean is an added advantage.
