DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  1. Oversee and manage factory end-to-end supply chains to best meet overall Compart Group objectives including customer satisfaction, cost and inventory management, and key projects
  2. Lead the demand fulfilment process by systematically use of Master Production Schedule (MPS) consistent with business demands and target performance requirements of inventory management and short lead time delivery capability
  3. Manage the process of the planning and purchasing of raw materials (Materials Requirement Planning - MRP)
  4. Provide key suppliers with regularly performance feedback (Supplier Scorecard) and demand forecast information.
  5. Oversee the stock room personnel and activities, ensuring inventory accuracy, quarterly Excess and Obsolete (E&O) process, and adherence to established quality guidelines.
  6. Develop and report KPI’s, pursue improvements in internal and vendor performance, on-time shipments, and inventory control (turns and accuracy).
  7. Pursue cost reduction initiatives, track and report annual Purchase Price Variance (PPV)
  8. Pursue maximum stock availability with minimal inventory levels through Kanban, consignment inventory, and other lean replenishment programs as appropriate.
  9. Coordinate with engineering for material support of new product development programs.
  10. Drive continuous improvement activities and flex training programs for materials staff to achieve personnel development and business performance improvements.
  11. Hire/terminate, develop, evaluate, motivate, train, and supervise and provide professional development to the supply chain team
  12. Ensure safe working area and work procedures are in line with Company's Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
  13. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as business needs require

QUALIFICATION / COMPETENCE REQUIREMENT:
 
  1. Minimum diploma degree, advanced degree preferred.
  2. 5-8 years’ experience in supply chain related functions (planning, purchasing and logistics) / 3 years in materials management function.  Semiconductor industry experience preferred.
  3. 4. Solid knowledge of concerned process like metal melting process, steel machining, cutting tools, surface treatment etc
  4. Practical experience and knowledge of ERP systems, management of supply chain, planning, purchasing and inventory systems. Epicor experience a plus.
  5. Experience with supplier management and score card.
  6. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.  Ability to convey technical information in understandable terms.
  7. Effective contributor to cross-functional teams in a variety of roles.
  8. Motivated professional with good business savvy and ability to interact internally and externally.
