Our client is an established EMS company from overseas investment, located at Senai.
MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES
- Location: Senai, Johor (5 days/week)
- Responsible for equipment capacity improvement and verification and Operations productivity improvement
- Determine planning factors for short-term planning and scheduling as well as for strategic planning scenarios
- Monitor and manage upcoming short-term production bottlenecks
- Develop and define strategies for shop floor scheduling to meet the planned throughput
- Work closely with Production to control dispatch points to ensure a smooth production
- Analyse specifications and capacity and undertake appropriate calculations to estimate job requirements, in terms of labour, tools, materials and resources
- Continually monitor and review plans and make appropriate adjustments in the event of changes and unforeseen circumstances
- Continually review ways in which to make improvements and make the capacity planning and manufacturing process more efficient
- Responsible for the training and development of the business department team and continuously improve the team's organizational efficiency.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or its equivalent.
- 5 years experience in EMS manufacturing.
- Experience in SAP system.
- Good communication skills.
