Responsibilities
- Effectively provide technical support to end-users, addressing issues related to hardware, software, printers, and connectivity with prompt troubleshooting and resolution.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of various software applications, ensuring they remain up-to-date and compatible with existing systems.
- Take charge of IT Hardware management, including computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals, conducting routine checks and maintenance for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with network administrators to resolve WiFi connectivity problems and address routing issues.
- Maintain precise records of IT assets, software licenses, and configurations while updating troubleshooting guidelines.
- Implement security policies, measures, and conduct regular security checks to safeguard data and systems.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the technical knowledge and proficiency of end-users.
- Stay abreast of IT advancements and make recommendations for infrastructure upgrades.
Requirements
- Possess a diploma or degree in IT or a related field.
- Willing to work at Port Klang
- Demonstrable experience in tech support (minimum 3 years)
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting
- Knowledge of IT security principle
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
