Are you an experienced project management professional with a strong interest in building automation systems? Join our dynamic team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality engineering projects across Malaysia.
We are looking for a Project Engineer / Project Manager to support and lead building automation projects, ensuring timely execution, quality delivery, and excellent customer satisfaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Project Manager in managing projects efficiently and effectively.
Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and cost estimation.
Monitor the full project lifecycle to ensure delivery meets time, cost, and quality requirements.
Lead and manage the project team to meet project objectives and deadlines.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, government agencies, etc.).
Prepare and present project reports and updates to the Project Manager.
Provide periodic updates on work progress, including progress claims.
Attend site meetings and support the resolution of engineering or project management issues.
Provide daily updates to the team on tasks and progress.
Maintain high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely follow‑up on concerns.
Manage customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to superiors when needed.
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of customer information.
Support the sales team in after‑sales service, consultancy, and client relationship strengthening.
Maintain strong communication and collaboration within and across departments.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in construction or engineering projects.
Technical knowledge in Building Automation Systems (HVAC, mechanical systems, control systems) is an added advantage.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead site teams and coordinate with consultants and departments.
Strong skills in planning, organisation, leadership, negotiation, problem‑solving, and communication.
A proactive, responsible, positive team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and work well under pressure.
Willing to work primarily in Kuala Lumpur and Cyberjaya, with occasional travel to other project sites within Malaysia.
Must possess own transport and a valid driving licence.
