Key Responsibilities for Senior Program Manager
- Take charge of planning, coordinating, and executing the project transfer, which involves establishing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, legal, and finance teams, to devise and implement transfer strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments and create contingency plans to minimize potential disruptions during the transfer process, ensuring uninterrupted operations and customer satisfaction.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and expenditures, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
- Supervise the selection and qualification of suppliers, vendors, and partners in Southeast Asia, negotiating contracts and agreements to meet project requirements.
- Drive process optimization and efficiency enhancements to streamline operations and boost productivity in the new location.
- Monitor and report on project progress, status, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, identifying and resolving issues or deviations as necessary.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, trade laws, and international standards governing the transfer of operations between countries.
- Cultivate positive relationships with local government agencies, industry associations, and community stakeholders in Southeast Asia to facilitate project implementation and integration.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Possess at least 3 years of experience in program management, project management, or operations management, demonstrating a track record of leading complex projects in a multinational environment.
- Have a strong grasp of supply chain dynamics, manufacturing processes, and trade regulations, particularly in China and Southeast Asia.
- Exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across organizational levels and functions.
- Demonstrate the ability to drive change, manage ambiguity, and navigate challenges in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
- Be a strategic thinker with robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities, capable of developing and executing innovative solutions to achieve project objectives.
- Possess proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Lean Six Sigma, which is preferred.
- Be willing to travel domestically and internationally as required to support project activities and stakeholder engagements.
