Key Responsibilities for HDL:
- Develop hardware features based on product requirements.
- Perform FPGA and CPLD development using VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Conduct technology research, product bring-up, validation, verification, and debugging for successful launches.
- Debug and resolve system-level issues.
- Collaborate with board-level designers on circuit design, schematic capture, layout review, simulation, and signal integrity analysis.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog experience for Senior level; 2 years for Staff level.
- Proficient in FPGA development and HDL IP design.
- Experience in testbench development is a plus.
- Familiarity with test automation and scripting/programming languages.
- Board-level design experience is an added advantage.
- Passion for continuous learning and working with analog, digital, and computer technologies.
Key Responsibilities for Board Level Design:
- Research and propose alternative components to replace EOL parts while minimizing major software or hardware changes.
- Implement and simulate designs using CAD and synthesis tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics).
- Verify and validate hardware redesigns; debug issues during early V&V and manufacturing builds.
- Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations using RCA techniques (e.g., fishbone diagrams).
- Integrate DFM inputs from manufacturing to improve yield and quality.
- Develop mock-up designs as Proof of Concept to strengthen redesign proposals.
- Document failures, project progress, and share short- and long-term solutions with stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead the team in creating product and design documentation.
- Create debug tools and training materials for manufacturing during product release.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in analog/digital design with expertise in board-level design.
- Experience defining routing constraints for high-speed interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of CPU/SoC/Microcontroller circuit design.
- Proficient with hardware lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, power supplies).
- Familiarity with test automation and scripting/programming languages.
- Strong work ethic and drive to succeed.
