JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Setup and manage Automation & Control (AC) Department which involve resources hiring, training, tool room setup, machine assembly workshop.

Lead the AC team in design, installation, PLC programming, test and debug the machinery to meet the product & process requirements and on time project schedule.

Introduce new technology and design in processing, handling and manufacturing technology abreast with latest and advanced technologies available
-
Manage and execute AC projects to enhance yield, productivity & cost reduction through innovation & processes improvement.

Ensure the machine qualification are meeting to equipment efficiency, first pass yield, OEE%, complied to machine safety regulation and User Request Requirements.

To provide factory AC support and technical training when required

Establish departmental procedures in machine design and build.

To develop AC supplier’s capability in cost effective, quality and delivery aspects.
-
To develop and standardize foam and rubber equipment’s platform with high reusability and shortest development lead time.

Manage AC capex within the approved budget
-
Update AC project progress to Management in monthly basis.
-
Participate in ad-hoc assignment assigned by superior or management
-
Travel may be required in Asia region
JOB REQUIREMENT
-
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Robotic and Mechatronics, E&E or equivalent)

More than 5 years’ experience in process automation design

Strong leadership skill
-
Good problem-solving ability
-
Able to manage multiple priorities
-
Ability to design and propose design concept in 3D model using Solidworks

Automation vendor competency development
-
PLC program and Vision Inspection knowledge
