This role will support the portfolio of interconnects commodity which includes connectors and custom mechanical parts (cable assemblies). The ideal candidate will have a background in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain and will be responsible for driving supplier performance, reducing total cost of ownership, and optimizing the supply chain process
Job Responsibilities
Creating and implementing a global strategy and collaboration model for interconnects which includes connectors and custom mechanical parts (cable assemblies).
Building relationships on a global, regional, and local scale to become a trusted advisor with collaborators in order to ensure goals are aligned and achieved.
Identifying areas of opportunity and completing activities to fulfil cost, process, efficiency, and sustainability goals.
Leading procurement negotiations, source-to-contract and supplier management activities which generate best-in-class outcomes.
Monitor market trends and assess potential risks and opportunities.
Building excellent supplier relationships whereby procurement is seen as a key decision-maker.
Continuing to stay updated on industry, market, and business standard methodologies and new technologies.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
At least 7 years experience in a strategic Procurement role within a multinational organization; prior experience in managing the specialized commodities would be highly advantageous
