GL Accountant
A well- established MNC manufacturing company who operates in a shared service environment in Malaysia is looking for a career minded GL Accountant to be part of their team. You will be a key member of their GL team and able to handle the end to end process of the General Ledger process.
Main responsibilities of the GL Accountant role
• Preparation of month and year end reports for the accounts of the company
• Preparation and forecasting the budget of monthly cash requirements
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
• Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank details, update of cash receipts and recording entry in accounting system.
Key requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
• Experience in using an ERP system is an added bonus
• Experience in shared service or MNC company will be an added advantage
• Able to work independently and have a good eye for details
• Professional qualification e.g ACCA/CPA/ ICAEW is an added advantage
