A world-renowned leader in automation technologies and industrial software is seeking a Managing Director to spearhead the full operational performance of its manufacturing facility. This strategic role is pivotal in driving customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and long-term business growth while ensuring compliance with corporate standards and local regulations.
As the site’s top leader, you will shape the plant’s direction across operations, quality, safety, culture, and people development—leading a strong team toward high performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full plant operations to meet targets in delivery, quality, safety, and financial performance.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, disciplined execution, and strong performance management.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace culture that supports engagement and career development.
- Ensure the Quality Management System aligns with global standards and is continuously improved.
- Maintain full compliance with local regulations, corporate policies, and governance requirements.
- Lead the strategy, implementation, and sustainability of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans that support business growth and operational scalability.
- Oversee shared services across the Nilai campus to ensure effective and aligned service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with internal leaders, global stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and external agencies.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of leadership experience within operations, manufacturing, or quality management.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving operational targets and driving customer satisfaction.
- Strong capability in developing and executing strategic plans aligned to business objectives.
- Excellent communication, leadership presence, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience managing multi-functional manufacturing teams in a global or matrix organization.
- Solid understanding of Quality, EHS, and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to drive cultural transformation and improve employee engagement.
