JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with all internal functions in a Business Partnering mindset to understand in detail the requirements towards talents
- Identify and deliver strategic plans that meet business sector needs including talent management, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, training and development, performance improvement, retention strategies, labour relations, etc.
- Implement and measure the effectiveness of HR activities through KPIs and identification of the added value to the business sector
- Review and enhance of HR policies, manpower planning, recruitment process, compensation and benefits, industrial relations, employee’s relations and training development
- Lead and spearhead in developing employment strategies and plans to acquire the right talents
- Credibility and ability to influence at senior level
- Provide high level of employee relations’ advice and support to the management team
- Respond to and represent industrial issue within the context of the business strategy and company’s objectives including handling grievances
- Provide expertise and managing any industrial related cases which may arise, including any domestic inquiry and representing the company for industrial court hearings
- Responsible in the identification of training and development needs and ensure effective co-ordination and implementation of the training programmes with the best suited cost
- Actively search and/or creatively design and apply new ways/implement effective method for enhancing and upskilling talents and employees
- Design programs to develop positive employee relations and communications
- Develop and maintain a friendly working environment and positive culture within the organization
- Act as the Compliance Manager to ensure the company complies and fulfil the compliance obligations and duties in accordance to integrity and competition modules adopt by shareholders
- Ensure Company complies with all of the local employment related laws and regulations which includes employment statutory eg employer’s tax matters, EPF, Socso, foreign labour, etc
- Regularly align on people policies with the shareholders’ organisations
- Comply and support EHS policies, rules and regulations at all times
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Preferably Degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent
- At least 15 years of working experience in related field with 10 years exposure in managing and leading people
- Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Law
- Dynamic and tactful personality, high degree of professionalism and integrity, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership qualities, result oriented, dynamic personality, good follow through and possess good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and without supervision
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Meticulous, committed and able to work under pressure
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Melayu
- Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, etc
