JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide direction to recruiting staff relative to internal and external search procedures, ensuring qualified resources are provided in a timely manner.

  • Provide leadership in handling disciplinary related matters, counselling and any other employee issues.

  • Develop, initiate programs to enhance employees’ well-being, enhancing teamwork and ensuring a healthy and conducive working environment.

  • Present employees’ feedback as per needs and recommend counter-measures for improvement areas that help in retention of employees.

  • Develop and implement employee wellness program; provide educational workshops and training for employees on safety and wellness.

  • Lead HR team in conducting annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA), identify key skills, specialty skills and propose training needs accordingly.

  • Recommend continual improvement on operative training system to deliver short learning curve for new hires and cross-trainees.

  • Conduct annual salary and benefits benchmark, analyze, and make recommendations for improvement as a basis to attract, retain and motivate our human capital towards higher levels of work performance.

  • Facilitate and manage the annual performance appraisal and Performance Improvement Program (PIP).

  • Preparing annual budget for salaries and headcount. 5. Human resource information system

  • Lead the HR team in continuous process improvement and simplification, and maintain smooth running of the Human Resources Information System (Prosoft).

  • Monitor timely update of personnel records (personal details, position, banding, salary, appraisal outcomes, leaves & training records).

  • Organize and produce monthly HR reporting

  • Responsible for ensuring that the Company is in compliance with all labor statutory and regulatory requirements.

  • Liaise with MIDA and Immigration Department for licensing and expatriate employment

  • Provide continuous support to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management/ Business or relevant

  • At least 5 years of experience in managerial position

  • Familiar with Employment Act, Labour Law and Foreign Worker regulation
