Primary Objectives

Key Responsibilities

1. Market & Customer Investigation

  • Conduct research on customers, including demand, pricing, production, quality conditions, and competitor analysis.
  • Monitor market trends through news sources and industry information.

2. Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through meetings, engagement activities, and other methods.
  • Foster collaboration with Regional Sales Managers and internal ROHM staff.

3. Information Sharing

  • Provide customers with timely and relevant information.
  • Share market insights and updates with internal teams.
  • Obtain fresh information from HQ and market sources.

4. Promotion Activities

  • Drive aggressive promotion to R&D customers.
  • Track promotion status regularly.
  • Organize technology meetings and technical exchange sessions between customers and designers.

5. Sales Planning

  • Prepare accurate sales budgets (Dainittei) based on customer business plans and forecasts.
  • Develop precise sales estimations and input Cyunittei using customer data and market insights.

6. Delivery Control

  • Monitor delivery conditions via system checks and coordinator updates.
  • Adjust delivery schedules through discussions with customers and HQ.
  • Support coordinators in daily delivery operations.

7. Issue Resolution

  • Negotiate and resolve pricing issues with customers and management.
  • Address quality concerns promptly by liaising with QA and implementing recovery actions.
  • Manage excess stock and financial issues through customer discussions.

8. Payment Management

  • Assist Accounts Department with debit/credit information and ensure timely payment collection.
  • Verify payment status periodically through outsourcing checks.
