A global leader in crating, packaging, and logistics solutions is currently seeking a Senior Logistics Executive to join their dynamic team. This role will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, with a strong emphasis on LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) management, Customs compliance, and shipment coordination, including documentation such as K1, K2, K8, and handling of FIZ/FTZ processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the logistics operations, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- To be involved in strategic planning, coordination, and execution to ensure the timely movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
- Overseeing the daily activities of team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Providing regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to team members to help them improve and grow professionally.
- Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
- Liaise closely with Customs authorities for resolving all matters related to export processes, report submissions, etc.
- Ensure documentation accuracy for import/export declaration and clearance while complying with all the Customs and LMW license regulations.
- Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal team, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.
- Monitoring and controlling logistics costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to improve cost-effectiveness while maintaining service quality.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all orders are completed and ready for shipment as per planned schedule.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with the logistics process.
- Generating reports on logistics performance metrics, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Understand on the requirements for a QMS, including documented information, planning and determining process interactions.
- Responsible for participating and handle LMW audit
Job Requirement
- Minimum 5 years of experience in handling logistic operation in a manufacturing sector.
- Diploma / Degree in Logistic Operation, Supply Chain Management or its equivalent
- Familiar with Customs HS code, duty tax computation and exemption, LMW regulations, and other Customs regulations and requirements
- Ability to deal with relevant government agencies, inclusive of Customs authorities
