Our client is a reputable Japanese multinational Specializes in Wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) and environmental solutions. They are currently looking for an Plant Sales Engineer to spearhead project proposals and technical sales processes within the government sector.
Location to work: Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Responsibilities:-
Lead engineering proposals for wastewater treatment plant projects targeting the government sector
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Malaysia & Japan HQ) to design competitive plant solutions
Translate client requirements into technical concepts: process flow, plant layout, equipment specs and budget estimates
Prepare and submit comprehensive bidding documents and technical proposals
Act as liaison between sales and engineering teams to drive project acquisition
Coordinate with clients, consultants and project managers throughout the proposal and implementation phases
Support cross boarder contract discussions and import/ export documentation where necessary
Job Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Chemical or Civil)
5-10 years' experience in plant engineering or proposal development for government -led infrastructure projects
Solid exposure to wastewater treatment or similar industrial plant systems
Proficient in interpreting tender documents and producing technical proposals
Familiar with engineering software and tools, especially AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Exposure to international project bidding and contract negotiations is a strong advantage
Fluent in both English and Malay (Spoken and Written)
