Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company sales targets.
- Identify and target new business opportunities, both domestically and internationally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Lead the sales team, providing guidance, support, and setting performance targets.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Oversee the end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations.
- Optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant customs and shipping regulations.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to resolve any operational challenges promptly.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales and logistics team.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and logistics.
- Act as a key point of contact for major clients and stakeholders, resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Work closely with clients to understand their evolving needs and tailor services accordingly.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales and logistics performance to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, etc.)
- Proven experience in sales and logistics, particularly in the forwarding and shipping industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and logistics software e.g: SCM or WMS
- Able to commute to area Klang to work.
